Poems on a Rainy Day
Rain makes me sleepy
And maybe a bit dizzy
The sound of the rain pouring
Make my heart relaxing
This sweet melody is my lullaby
-Rania
I hate the rain
it wets my hair
and soaks my dress
I hate rainy days
because in my house I have to stay
-Vera
Wrapped in rain,
wrapped in the wind
the wrathful goddess
exhales vengeance
on the tiny animals
who scratch her skin
Like so many biting fleas.
-Noah
The sky is full of rain
I couldn’t be more in pain
-Max
When Earth is sad
Its tears start to fall
And people underneath
Take a moment to breathe
-Paula
Waking up in the morning to a rainy day
It’s a cold, and gloomy day
With the sound of rain that I like most
I cover myself with blanket
I buried myself on my bed
With a lot of thoughts in my mind
Thinking about my future
Thinking about what I’ve done
-Putri
Rainy days are great
As long as you don’t get too wet.
Under the rain, i love to dance
With music playing in my ears
But it don’t rain too much in France
or just like thrice in a year.
Castille
wet and cold
just like rain
the world unfolds
safe from the pain
under the ceiling growing old
-Camila
They happen often
They come when the feelings are gone
For some they could mean happiness
And for others, sadness.
Oftentimes, if you don’t have them
You could be happier— or sadder
And if you somehow don’t want them to come
They will always be there
-Rafael
It rains, and the wind is never weary; my
thoughts still cling to the wandering
past. But hopes of youth fall thick in
The blast, and the days are dark and
Dreary.
-Lucia
Oh rainy day
You make me feel like a Monday
You are always on point
For disappoint(ment)
I wish we could get sun
So I can visit the big apple
And visit 9/11 Memorium
With my friend Adele
This is my last week
On this campus
So please, don’t be weak
And give me good °C
-Joseph
When it rains I like staying at home,
looking the water doing races until the final of the window.
Just a hot coffee in front of the fireplace.
Now that I am miles away from home,
it gives me a nostalgic feeling and gives me back remembers
Rain’s sound it’s like music for my ears,
I feel comfortable but it also makes me upset.
-Paula
I’m falling. I falling just as
drops of rain are falling on the
ground. I have been there many
times, every time I have tried to
get up, but does that really matter?
the sky is dark, such a cloudy
day, just as my future, just as
future of everyone of us, because
all of us are going to die. I’m falling.
